Barrie Lambert – President of Editure Technology
Barrie Lambert was appointed President of the Editure Technology Division in 2008. Mr. Lambert was the Chief Financial Officer of Editure from 2005 to 2009. Prior to joining Editure, Mr Lambert was based in San Francisco, where he was Vice President, General Manager for Sephora, the largest specialty retailer of beauty products in the USA. In this role he was responsible for Sephora’s e-commerce and direct mail business. During his time at Sephora he previously held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Operations Manager. Mr Lambert has over 20 years experience in finance roles across a number of industries, combined with several years in operations and general management. He has held senior positions with BHP, Coopers & Lybrand, Trusthouse Forte (UK), Merrill Lynch (UK) and The Adelaide Steamship Group of Companies. Mr Lambert holds a Bachelor of Arts (Accountancy) degree from the University of South Australia, Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant.
Peter Evans – Learning Management System Software (Australia)
Peter Evans joined Editure as General Manager of Education Technology in 2008. Mr Evans is a seasoned IT executive with over 20 years in the industry. Over his career he has held senior roles with both small and large organisations, including Telstra, QPSX, Austel, Nortel and more recently he spent 13 years in various roles with Hewlett Packard. Peter has an extensive technical and general management experience backed up by a strong academic background. He has a passion for the education industry, particularly combining technology with the delivery of learning in schools. He is a member of a number of Advisory Boards for Deakin University in Australia.
Rod MacLaren – Learning Management System Software (United Kingdom)
Rod MacLaren is the head of Editure Education Services UK which provides learning management system software to schools and learning authorities throughout the United Kingdom. He oversees for all areas of Editure’s activities in learning management system software in the UK market, including service delivery, product development, sales, marketing and operations. Prior to joining Editure, Mr MacLaren was the managing Director of DB Education Services, a leading provider of learning management system software and technology to schools in the United Kingdom.
Henri Guillame – Professional Services (Australia)
Mr Guillaume has had a long career in both custom software development and customer services in a range of industries both in Australia and internationally. Mr Guillaume has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey, and a Master of Science in Computing Science from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London.
Bruce Chynoweth – Software Product Manager (Australia)
Mr Chynoweth made the move from the classroom to Editure in 1999. His 25 years in the education field, including 18 years as a high school teacher, together with extensive travel throughout Australia, the United States and United Kingdom conducting ICT enabled professional development for teachers, provide the backdrop for his work focussed on standards based online learning environments in K-12 classrooms. Mr Chynoweth has a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Social Studies from the Australian Catholic University.
Stuart Mitchell – Software Commercial Manager (Australia)
Stuart Mitchell has held various product focused management roles at Editure since 1999. More recently Mr Mitchell has combined his knowledge of the business, product, industry and clients to take on the role of Commercial Manager. Mr Mitchell has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Media from Swinburne University and has lectured in Media and Communications at a tertiary level.
Faye Kidd – Operations and Product Manager (United Kingdom)
Faye Kidd was appointed Operations Manager in 2010 to unify the various company departments and develop and expand the company’s vital customer support services. Prior to that Ms Kidd was the company’s Product Manager. Ms Kidd has over ten years of software development and integration experience within the flight simulation industry working for Thales, a major international supplier of simulators and training devices for civil and military aviation. Ms Kidd has a first class honors degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and an EMTA Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering.
Peter Mahoney – Development Manager (United Kingdom)
Peter Mahoney has led the development team since 2008. He has worked at the company for a total of six years, driving the adoption of the Java platform and the use of open source frameworks in product development. From the outset, Mr. Mahoney has been a key member of the Product Development team responsible for the design of the learning management system software for the UK market. Prior to Editure, he worked for seven years at Moat Housing Group, developing their housing management system, plus providing reporting and business intelligence solutions. Mr. Mahoney has a first class Computer Science degree.
David Brett – Sales Manager (United Kingdom)
David Brett was appointed Sales Manager in 2009. He is responsible for all of Editure’s sales and marketing activities in the UK market and managers of our UK sales team. Prior to joining Editure, Mr. Brett this was the Sales and Marketing Manager for ISA Media. Mr. Brett has a wealth of sales experience including working in the education sector for over an extended period. His professional experience has covered North America and the UK enabling him to adapt his sales style to different markets and client requirements.
Robin Guy – IT Services (Australia)
Robin Guy has been with the business that currently forms part of Editure’s Technology Division since 1980. Mr. Guy originally joined the company as a maintenance manager. He has a detailed knowledge of knowledge information technology including mini computers, client/server systems, micro’s (personal computers) and integrating WAN and LAN’s technologies. Robin is Chairman of the IGC Audit committee and is a director of the Independent Gaming Corporation.
