United Kingdom, 22 January 2011 – Editure was successful in the tender by the East of England Broadband Network (“E2BN”) for learning platforms, virtual learning environments (“VLEs”) and MIS frameworks. Editure was successfully awarded contracts for learning platforms, VLEs, tools and utilities.

E2BN is one of ten Regional Broadband Consortia (“RBCs”) set up by the UK Government to help raise standards in teaching and learning by the use of broadband technology. Each RBC is formed from a group of Local Authorities who work together with the aim of achieving better provision, value for money and performance for schools. . The Local Authorities within E2BN’s region Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Norfolk, Peterborough, Southend On Sea, Suffolk and Thurrock.
